Two people have been injured in a helicopter crash on a property near Victoria’s alpine region.
The helicopter came down at Piries, south of Mansfield, shortly after 3pm on Saturday, police said.
A man and woman believed to be aged in their 40s were on board, along with a female child.
The woman is seriously injured and has been airlifted to hospital, while the man suffered minor injuries.

Bystanders intervened when a young girl, who was the chopper’s third passenger, went back into the wreck to retrieve her computer.
“There was a couple of people outside the helicopter and there was a young girl inside, trying to grab her, I’d say, schoolwork and computer, and we just told to get the hell out,” said witness Garry Studley.
“There was smoke and we could smell fuel and we were worried about it exploding.”
Air safety authorities have been notified, police said.
