The latest optical internet sensation has again left people questioning their sanity, as an image of a beach-turned-car door makes the rounds.
Apparently, depending on what you interpret the image as at first glance reveals whether or not you’ve got an artist in you.
Twitter user @nxyxm is ground zero for the phenomenon, tweeting: “If you can see a beach, ocean, sky, rocks and stars, then you are an artist. But it’s not a painting, it’s [the] lower part of the car gate which needs to be repaired.”

The internet loves a challenge, and the tweet quickly moved into viral status. As it did, @nxynm – Nayem – revealed more details for those who were having trouble seeing the car door – the true image.
“Focus on [the] dark side you will see [the] car gate,” he tweeted.
“It’s a car door, the seal panel under it is damaged, the bend in the door gives [the] illusion of beach, the seal panel is damaged and scratched which gives [the] illusion of water on the edge of [the] beach,” a follow up tweet said.
There’s no evidence people who can’t see the door for the beach should quit their day job and take up still life painting full-time, but it’s still a bit of fun online.
