A woman has been charged with manslaughter after two women, including her daughter, were hit and killed in a shopping centre carpark in northern NSW.
Police were called to a Nambucca Heads shopping centre just before midnight on Saturday, where the two women – a 24-year-old from Bellingen and a 20-year-old from Macksville – had been run down by a car.
Both of them died at the scene.
The 52-year-old driver has been refused bail to front Kempsey Local Court on Monday, where she faces charges of manslaughter and dangerous driving.
