A woman has reportedly been shot in the face and three other people injured in what police have described as a possible domestic violence incident in north Queensland.
Police were called to Gibraltar Road in Rangewood, outside Townsville, just after 8am on Wednesday after reports of a gunshot.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said one patient was taken to Townsville Hospital in a serious condition.
Three others – reportedly two men and a woman – were taken to hospital in stable conditions.
#Rangewood – Five patients have been assessed following an incident at a private residence. Four patients have been transported to Townsville Hospital, three stable and one in a serious condition. QAS was notified at 8.29am.

The Townsville Bulletin reports that one woman apparently suffered a gunshot wound to her face and head.
Police said a man was in custody and a crime scene had been established.
