New Zealand police have suspended the search for the two remaining victims of the White Island eruption.
They said the move followed “extensive shoreline and substantial aerial searches”.
One of the two missing victims is 17-year-old Winona Langford from Sydney.
The families of the two missing people have been informed of the decision to suspend the search.
The authorities said they were ready to respond if new information came to light.
The official death toll from the eruption stands at 17.
