A father has been charged with the murder of his nine-week-old boy, almost a month after the infant died in a Sydney hospital.
Police and paramedics were called to a home at Auburn in western Sydney after reports a child was found unresponsive in June.
The nine-week-old was taken in an ambulance in Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick but died from severe injuries on July 20.
Homicide detectives spent two months investigating the death. On Friday, the baby’s 46-year-old was charged with murder.
He will appear in court later on Friday.
