A man has been shot dead and three others injured in an alleged confrontation near a suburban playground in south-east Queensland.
Police say the 31-year-old suffered critical injuries in the melee on Baden Jones Way at Booval, north of Ipswich, about 5pm on Tuesday.
He was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
Three other men who were injured in the brawl were rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and Ipswich General Hospital for treatment.
Detectives are investigating the fight, which involved a large number of people armed with weapons.
